Mission & Vision
The Serbian Biochemical Society (SBS) is an open association devoted to the advancement and coordination of scientific research leading to better understanding of the biochemical disciplines.

- SBS organizes public lectures, lectures and scientific meetings for its members
- SBS supports members’ participation in international scientific conferences
- SBS promotes extrainstitutional and International scientific conferences
History
SBS is a descendant from the former Union of Yugoslav Biochemical Societies established in 1977, and became a member of FEBS in 1998.

SBS has approximately 250 members.
