NAD Metabolism and Signaling
Since 2009, this essential Science Research Conference (SRC) has provided new and exciting insights into NAD+ biology, one of the most rapidly growing fields in biology.
This discipline has substantial medical implications with direct relevance to autoimmune diseases, cancer, neurodegenerative diseases, diabetes, and more. It brings together topical fields of research, including PARP biology, sirtuin biology, NAD+ metabolism, and signaling by NAD metabolites, such as NAADP. With pharmaceutical companies showing great interest in NAD+ biology due to the importance of its regulation in human disease and NAD’s role in aging, there has been growing interest in translational studies.
