As we mark the 10th anniversary of the International Day of Women and Girls in Science (International Day of Women and Girls in Science | United Nations) and reflect on progress, let us continue breaking barriers, challenging stereotypes, and supporting all scientists in building a more inclusive and scientific community.
With the aim of enhancing the visibility, recognition, and promotion of women and girls in molecular life sciences, on the occasion of FEBS 60th Anniversary we created the Women’s Careers in Science eBook. It showcases inspiring stories of outstanding women in science from 35 FEBS countries, highlighting their diverse career paths and how they balance scientific pursuits with personal and family commitments, aiming to inspire future generations of female scientists.
